Using the HVV harbor ferries is a very cheap way to get harbor boot trips, without the blah-blah on paid trips… 😉 You can use the ferries with your HVV-ticket, no extra charge. 🙂
Landungsbrücken is probably a good starting point (but often crowded at the weekends):
- S-Bahn Station: Maps
- Landungsbrücken, Brücke 1 : Maps
- Landungsbrücken, Brücke 3, Ferry 62: Maps
- How to get there from Pflugacker: Maps

Scaring adventure trip on Elbe river with Ferry 64/62 (I hope you can swim?):
- By Bus: From Pflugacker to Teufelsbrück (Fähre): Maps
- By Ferry: From Teufelsbrück (Fähre) to Finkenwerder: Maps (use Ferry 64 „Finkenwerder über Rüschpark“).
- By Ferry: Finkenwerder to Landungsbrücken: Maps (use Ferry 62 „Landungsbrücken“).
- Contrary to plans, Ferry 62 sometimes departs directly from Teufelbrück, so you can use it directly from there and skip step 2, if you like.
The tour takes about 2 hours total. Note: The route depends on day time. In the evening Ferry 62 stops earlier and you will go by bus / foot the remaining way to Landungsbrücken. Open the route when you actually start, to get the current route. Or set a day and time in Google Maps…
